Melody R. McGinnis, 56 of Clinton, passed away at her home, Tuesday, April 25, 2017.
The family has chosen cremation and will hold a memorial service on Saturday, April 29, at 1 p.m., at Assembly of God Church, 601 10th Avenue, Fulton, Illinois. A potluck luncheon at the church will follow.
Melody Rae McGinnis was born January 11, 1961, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Ilene Tolle. She loved time spent with family and friends especially her grandson. She also enjoyed camping, fishing and loved all animals.
Melody is survived by her three daughters: Shannon McGinnis, of Walcott, Shawna McGinnis, of Clinton and Nikki McGinnis, of Clinton; one grandson Ryan McGinnis, of Clinton; and two sisters, Pamela Stirk of Clinton, and Colleen (Rick) McGinnis, of Thomson, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
