Marilyn M. Wise, 89, of Clinton, passed away, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Alverno - Clinton.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Marilyn Mae McFadden was born July 30, 1927 in Savanna, Illinois, the daughter of Maurice and Elsie (Schmidt) McFadden. She was a 1945 graduate of Savanna High School. She married Hubert Wise on May 1, 1949 in Savanna, Illinois.

Marilyn was a homemaker and also worked for the Clinton Community School in the Clinton High School cafeteria for 7 years. She loved to cook and enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino.

She is survived by her husband Hubert of Clinton, one son: Gerald Wise of Franklin, Wisconsin and one daughter: Rhonda Wise of Austin, Texas; one brother: Gary (Patti) McFadden of LeClaire, Iowa; two sisters: Sharon Welch of Elgin, Illinois and Maurine Ellinor of Lanark, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.
