Shirley Ann Oestreich, 81, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the Alverno Health Care Facility.
Memorial Services will be 1:00pm, Monday, March 6, 2017, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Shirley Ann Hartley was born on June 16, 1935 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of John Albert and Flora Elizabeth (Holtzinger) Hartley. She attended Wauzeka High School and graduated in 1953. On August 30, 1954 she married Maurice (Mike) Oestreich in Cedar Rapids; he died June 17, 2013. They moved to Clinton in 1955 from Richland Center, Wisconsin.
Shirley was a homemaker and worked at PFC for 14 years before retiring in 1996. She enjoyed crafts, camping, and was a member of the Clinton Church of Christ.
Shirley is survived by three sons: Michael (Cindy), John (Connie), of Clinton, and Mark (Julie) of Bettendorf; two daughters: Debra (Marty Miller), and Beth (Tom Spalding) of Clinton; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son-in-law: Richard McHenry, a sister: Marilyn Suetmeyer, a brother-in-law: Dean Suetmeyer, and one grandson.
