The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, March 18, 1887

On Wednesday night, after an illness of considerable duration, Mr. W. A. Bignall closed his earthly career. He had resided in Clinton about thirteen years, during which most time had been engaged in the grocery business. A wife and three children are left to mourn the loss of a husband and father. The entire community will sympathize with them in their great loss. The funeral will occur on Saturday afternoon from the residence on 8th Avenue. The services will be conducted by Rev. J. D. Burrell of the Presbyterian Church Mr. Bignall was about 46 years of age.
