Last Saturday, Mrs. Jane Harrison, and old and esteemed lady of this city paid the great debt of nature and quietly passed into the great unknown. For the past two years deceased has been a victim of that dread disease, consumption and knowing that the end could not be far distant was prepared for it. At the time of her death her age was 60 years, being born in Lockport, N. Y., in 1826. She came west with her parents in 1836 and has been a resident of this vicinity since a very early day. She leaves an only daughter, Mrs. Robert Moody, to mourn her loss. Three brothers and two sisters also survive her:-Franklin K. Peck of this city, George and John Peck of California, Mrs. Ira Stockwell of Lyons and Mrs. E. Boice of Texas.
