The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 9, 1885

Last Friday afternoon Mr. W. A. Buchanan, formerly sheriff of this county, died at his home in DeWitt of paralysis of the heart. Deceased was one of the old settlers of this county and was highly respected. The funeral took place on Sunday with services at the Catholic Church in DeWitt.
