Patricia Marie Lafond (nee Murphy), 85, formerly of Rockford, Illinois, Clinton, Iowa and Glendale, Arizona passed away on February 10 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A private memorial service was held in Milwaukee.
Pat was born in Rockford, Illinois to Henry and Carrie Murphy on May 14, 1931. She attended school in Rockford and was a member of the Bishop Muldoon High School class of 1949. She married Vincent J. "Duke" Lafond on May 29, 1954.Pat worked many years as an administrative assistant for companies in Illinois and Iowa. She enjoyed golf, music, puzzles and playing bridge. Fishing trips with the family were her greatest joy. Pat enjoyed many civic and recreational activities during her retirement years in Glendale, Arizona.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Michele (Marcus) Krogman and sister Therese (Murphy) Driscoll. She is survived by sons Timothy (Kira) of Wisconsin and Peter (Amy) of Nebraska, as well as sister Virginia (Murphy) Davis, of Arizona and grandchildren David, Peter, Jessica, Amanda, Emily, and Katherine.
