Daniel J. Honeywell, 36, of Clinton passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at his home - Clinton.

A private memorial service will be taking place at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com.

Daniel Joseph Honeywell was born May 11, 1980 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Kathy Taylor Honeywell. He was a graduate of Clinton High School. He married Alisha Kjormoe on October 9, 2014 in Clinton, Iowa, it was their 10 year anniversary.

Dan was currently working for West Rock in Clinton. Previously he worked as a water blasting superintendent at Bodine for 5 year. He was proud of the training that he took and the certifications that he received including OSHA certification, CPR certification and Fork Lift Operator certification.

He was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers. He loved music, his truck and animals. His furry companions included four cats, Fester, Avon, Abby and Willow and two dogs, Marf and Dexter. Dan and his wife were loving foster parents.

He is survived by his loving wife Alisha Kjormoe Honeywell of Clinton; three siblings: Elijah Honeywell of Clinton, Alexander Honeywell of Clinton and Karoline Thurston of Fulton, Illinois; maternal grandmother: Alice Haring of Clinton; and aunt: Miranda (Andy) Kirst of Des Moines, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his mother and maternal grandfather.
