Death of Mrs. Eben M. Treman

The entire community was painfully shocked by the announcement this morning of the sudden and unexpected death of Mrs. Eugenie Treman, wife of Mr. Eben M. Treman, of this village, which occurred at about 8 o’clock.
Mrs. Treman was the daughter of Oliver MacMahan, a banker of Lyons, Iowa. She was married to Mr. Treman in April, 1884, and after a few weeks wedding trip they came to this village to reside. During her comparatively brief residence here Mrs. Treman, by her charming manners and her true womanly character, made many warm friends in her new home, who will deeply grieve for her untimely death, while upon her sorrowing husband her loss falls with crushing force.
