The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, June 8, 1883

Wm. Goodhue a brakeman of the C. & N. W. Road, fell from a train at Cedar Rapids, Wednesday night, and was run over. His left leg below the knee was entirely severed, from the effects of which he died at about 5 o’clock Friday morning. His remains were brought here by the evening accommodation.
