Deaths Doing
Mr. Thomas S. Dannatt, one of the early settlers of Clinton County, died Saturday evening at his home at Low Moor, of a tumor. Mr. Dannatt had been ailing for a long time, and had consulted some of the best physicians of this country and Europe, having recently taken a trip to Europe for that purpose. He was beyond the reach of human aid, and lingered along for many months, until death came and put an end to his suffering. At the time of his death he was about 54 years of age, and had resided in the vicinity of Low Moor for over twenty-five years.
He leaves a wife and four children to mourn his loss. Deceased was universally respected, not only in his immediate neighborhood, but throughout the county and wherever known. The funeral occurred Tuesday at 11 o’clock, with services at the Methodist Church, Low Moor.
