Ron A. McDivitt, age 51 of Morrison, died Friday, January 20, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Clinton.

Ron was born on April 14, 1965 in Rockford, the son of Ron E. and Linda (Buchholz) McDivitt. He graduated from Morrison High School. Ron was employed by Whittier Elementary School in Clinton, IA. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He enjoyed golfing, listening to music, watching movies, comics and most of all, spending time with his sons.

Survivors include, his parents, Ron E. and Linda McDivitt of Rock Falls; four sons, Dustin John Stage, Zachary Tyler McDivitt, Dylan Taylor McDivitt and Sean Michael Ross; one granddaughter, Caylee Ann McDivitt; one sister, Judith (Brian) Olson; two nephews, Connor and Collin Olson; one neice, MacKenzie Olson; many aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, 1002 12th Avenue.
