Pauline M. Alm, age 86, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at her home. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Prince of Peace Parish where a rosary will be recited at 6:45 P.M. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 19th at Prince of Peace. Burial will be St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Ladies Auxiliary or the Prince of Peace Building Fund. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Pauline M. Dollieslager was born February 12, 1930 in Geneseo, Illinois to Peter Dollieslager and Elizabeth Matthys-Dollieslager. On September 16, 1951 Pauline married Wallace E. Alm at St. Patrick's Church in Colona, Illinois. They celebrated 65 years of marriage in September, 2016.

Pauline graduated from Geneseo High School in 1948 and attended St. Anthony's School of Nursing in Rock Island, Illinois. She then began her career as a Registered Nurse at St. Anthony's Hospital. Her nursing career continued at Mercy Hospital in Clinton and she worked for and with Dr. Joseph Monahan at Medical Associates for over 30 years.

Pauline enjoyed being with her family, celebrating birthdays, holidays and special occasions. Pauline was also an active member of Prince of Peace Parish and attended Mass daily.

Pauline is lovingly survived by her husband, Wally; daughters: Nancy (Bill) McClimon, Charlotte, Christy (Keevin) Foster, Camanche, sons: Bob (Twyla ) Alm, Camanche, and Dan Alm, DeBary, FL; grandchildren: Jill (Todd) McClimon-Whitehead, Tom (Nicole) McClimon, Stephen (Dawn) Alm, Jeff Alm, Cyanna (Matt) Boggess, Ashley (John) Riley, Mallory (Joe) Morgan, Abbi (Joel) Triphan, Molli Bachenberg, and Tony (Marisa) Foster; great grandchildren: Samantha, Blake, Zachary, Hunter, Trenton, Alexis, Rylee, Parker, Ella, Mirah, Cole, Addison, Maddox and Baby Morgan and many nieces and nephews.
