Joanne H. Geary, 76, of Clinton, passed away, Monday, January 2, 2017 at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Joanne Harriet Easley was born on September 10, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph and Hattie (Malhoit) Easley. She was a 1958 graduate of Clinton High School. She married David Geary on October 7, 1961 in Camanche.
Joanne worked for International Paper, Interstate Power, and Skyline throughout her career. She enjoyed being outside especially going on walks and working in her garden. She enjoyed helping others.
Joanne is survived by her children: Terry (Laurie) Geary, David Geary, Mary Kay (Dennis) Wright, Scott (Renee) Geary, Patricia Gillock, and Linda Reader all of Clinton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Mary Buikema of Clinton, and Linda (Steve) Bederson of Lehigh Acres, Florida.
