Died

In this city after a brief illness, Saturday morning, May 30th, Mrs. A. E. Lyons, aged 64 years. Relatives arrived from Connecticut and Wisconsin, and the funeral was held at Grace Church Sunday afternoon, with services by the Rector, Rev. C. W. Tyler. Tuesday her remains were accompanied to Ypsilanti, Mich., for burial by the side of her first husband, Stephen Fuller. Mrs. Lyons was a woman of strong mind, firm principal and opinions, and left many warm friends among her old neighbors.

Mrs. Carrie Sturges, niece of Mrs. Lyons of New Haven, Conn., and Mrs. Ida Phelps, of Ripon, Wisc. a cousin, were here to attend the funeral of the deceased; and Wednesday evening, Mrs. N. L. Town, of Washington, D. C., a sister, arrived here.
