Charlotte (Steward) Sadler
Sadler. -- The many friends of Charlotte Sadler will regret to learn of her death which occurred at her home in Nebraska, Dec. 9th 1912, aged 76 years. Charlotte Steward was married to Robert Sadler, September, 1852. They came to Iowa soon after, settled close to Iron Hill but soon tired of timber life and bought a large farm close to Delmar where they lived for many years; then sold their farm and moved to Grant, Iowa, where Mr. Sadler died. Mrs. Sadler then went with her children to Nebraska. She was a loving wife and mother, and for many years a true member of the Christian church. She leaves to mourn, six sons and four daughters, besides many relatives and friends. Her children had the body taken back to Grant, Iowa, and laid to rest in the family lot by side of her husband and several children buried there.
