Priscilla Sue Koenes, 73, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Society, Davenport, Iowa on Saturday, December 3, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 manufacturing drive). A visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel. Burial will follow the funeral service at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.

Priscilla was born December 16, 1942 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Madge (Steffey) Wolever. She was a 1961 graduate of Clinton High School. She was united in marriage to Gary Koenes on June 2, 1962 in Clinton, Iowa.

Priscilla was a homemaker, loved being a mother and being home. She was a member of the Church of the Open Door in Clinton - a very important part of her life. She was also a member of NARVRE . She enjoyed crocheting, going to thrift stores and going to garage sales. She also enjoyed event planning in her younger days especially baby showers.

Priscilla is survived by her husband Gary of Clinton, IA; two daughters - Cyndi Koenes of Davenport, IA and Melissa (Bill) Dague of Center Point, IA; two sons - Gregory (Laura Bice) Koenes of Fulton, IL and Brent Koenes of Clinton, IA; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers - Chuck (Nancy) Wolever of Grand Mound, IA and Bill (Sue) Wolever of DeWitt, IA; with several nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friend - Nancy Jo Hurla of Clinton, IA.

Preceding Priscilla in death were her parents, one brother - Bruce and two brothers-in-law - Tim Koenes and Rich Smith.

Memorials made will be directed to the Clinton Humane Society for cats.
