Harold R. Sater, 66 of LeClaire, Iowa, died Thursday afternoon, November 3, 2016, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport.

Harold Robert Sater was born January 14, 1950, to Robert and Mabel Sater in Des Moines, Iowa. At a young age he started working at Chiodo Farms in Des Moines. He married Corrinne Dohrmann on May 23, 1981, at the United Methodist Church in Low Moor, Iowa. The couple lived in Des Moines until settling in the Low Moor area where Harold raised produce that he sold at Farmer’s Markets until 2004. The family owned and operated Farm Fresh Flowers and Produce.

Harold loved spending time with his girls, gardening, and hunting.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Cori; daughters, Melissa of Des Moines, Amy of LeClaire, Allison (Andy) McGraw and Alexis both of Camanche; 2 grandsons; siblings, Carolyn (Clarence) Walker, Tom (Mary) Sater, Debbie Sater-West, all of Des Moines; father and mother -in-law, Bill and Connie Dohrmann; a brother-in-law, Blane (Julie) Dohrmann; sisters-in-law, Cara (Bill) Kaizer and Carla (Scott) Baxter; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Brenda, an infant brother, Junior, and sisters Kay, Betty, Joy, and Kathy.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 Monday, November 7, 2016, at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, Iowa. A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at the DeWitt United Methodist Church with Pastor Christine Minor-Heilig officiating. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
