Cynthia J. “Cyndi” Vulich, age 64 of Clinton, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Mercy Living Center South. In following Cyndi’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Oakland Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Cyndi was born in Forest Park, IL on November 3, 1951, the daughter of Peter and Doris (Scott) Vulich. She graduated from Clinton High School and received her AA Degree from Clinton Community College. Cyndi had worked as a truck driver and later as a receptionist at Clinton National Bank and McEleney Motors. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, taking bike rides along the river and up to the lock and dam and her time living in Colorado. She was an avid dog lover and enjoyed going to trucker's jamboree in Walcott every year. Cyndi is survived by two nieces; Hannah Wamsley of Clinton and Sarah Keister of Gerlaw, IL; two great nieces, Jennifer Buhlman and Haylee Chambers both of Gerlaw and a very special friend Jeff Gilchrist of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Christine.
