Doris M. Schultz, 90, of Camanche, passed away, Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Alverno.
A Funeral Mass will be, 10:30am, Monday, May 16, 2016 at the Church of the Visitation – Camanche. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Gina Villa, Terry Schultz, Shana Smith, Jason Lange, Lisa Dau, and Michael Villa. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-5:00pm at the church. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory – Camanche is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.

Doris Mae Wiebers was born on March 21, 1926 in Camanche, Iowa, the daughter of Arnold and Dorothy (Watkins) Wiebers. She married Raymond Schultz on August 22, 1946 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church – Clinton.

Doris was a homemaker and also worked at the Camanche Elementary School in the cafeteria for many years.

Doris was a member of Royal Neighbors of America, the Camanche VFW Auxiliary, and Women of the Moose. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. She was an avid Chicago Cub and Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Doris is survived by her husband: Raymond of Camanche; four children: Joyce Lange, Raymond “Skeeter” Schultz, Jr., Duane Schultz, and Kevin Schultz all of Camanche; five grandchildren: Gina (Mike) Villa of Las Vegas, Nevada, Terry (RoseAnn) Schultz of Clinton, Shana (Craig) Smith of Camanche, Jason Lange of Camanche, and Lisa (Eric) Dau of Camanche; 8 great-grandchildren: Michael (Alysia) Villa, Kiana Villa, Kayleigh (Tony) Schultz, Ashley (Eric) Schultz, Justin Anderson, Jordan Schultz, Quinn Lange, and Collin Lange; 9 great-great grandchildren: Kaiyah, Rylan, Ryder, Kayden, Johanna, Tailen, Aiden, Leah, and Laci; three sisters: Evelyn O’Connors of Clinton; Shirley (Gene) Kooi of Camanche, Joyce Hart of Camanche; one brother: Arnold (Clara) Wiebers of Camanche; sister-in-law: Betty Wiebers of Camanche; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson: Randy Schultz, son-in-law: Alan Lange, daughter-in-law: Mary Schultz; brother: Richard Wiebers, and two brother-in-laws: Leon O’Connors and Bob Hart.
