Norma E. Hudelson, 91, of Clinton, passed away, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Mercy Living Center South, Clinton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be held at the church Wednesday, from 10 AM until the service hour. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Clinton. Pallbearers will be James Sterbenz, Michael Schulze, Charles McCluskey, Jeff Sterbenz and Chris Fransen. Honorary pallbearers’ will be Tim Sterbenz, Bert Wascher and Snuff Schulze.

Norma Blankenship was born May 27, 1924 in Cooter, MO, the daughter of Sidney and Myrtle (Chesser) Blankenship. She was educated in the Hillsboro, Illinois, Schools. Norma married George A. Hudelson on July 6, 1946 in Edwardsville, Illinois; he died February 23, 2015.

Norma was a homemaker and worked at GE, Snack-Harbor and Lord Baltimore Press for a short time.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Sue Ellen Johnson of Springfield, IL; Judy (Bert) Wascher of Clinton; Lynn Thoms of Clinton; Sheryl Chaudoin of Fulton, IL and Patti (Snuff) Schulze of Sabula, IA; grandchildren, Kim (Floyd) Disney of Springfield, IL; V.J. Viola; Chris Viola; Jeff (Missy) Sterbenz of Clinton; Tim (Jessica) Sterbenz of Camanche; James Sterbenz of Richmond, VA; Lisa (Chris) Fransen of Fulton; Michael Schulze of Sabula and Charles (Stephanie) McCluskey of Cedar Rapids, IA; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters, parents and sons-in-law, Gary Hargrave and Gary Thoms.
