Jerry Lee Owens, age 69, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Genesis West Hospital, Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Jerry was born in Davenport on May 11, 1947, the son of Arthur and Alvena (Frasier) Owens. He had worked at Glenwood at the Advanced Training Center and was later employed with the Skyline Center. Jerry enjoyed sitting outside on his porch swing, taking walks with friends, spending time with housemates and watching Wheel of Fortune with his housemates. Jerry is survived by a sister, Carol Owens of Clinton, a brother, Roger Owens of Marion, OH and three special close friends that he enjoyed spending time with. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jerry will be remembered by his friends and family for his loving personality, his out of the blue laughing and determination to get what he wanted.
