From the Lyons Weekly Mirror, Saturday 26 Feb. 1881

DIED -- At her residence, in this city, Wednesday afternoon, Mrs. S. P. c. Stumbaugh; after a short illness; her tired and worn-out condition, caused by long and faithful watching by the bedside of her sick husband and children, making her an easy prey to the disease which had stricken this unfortunate family. The funeral occurred Thursday afternoon, and the heart-felt sympathy of the entire community goes out to the father and little one who still survives.
P.S.-- The motherless infant, Lilly Grace, died at four this morning, aged 5 months.
