Graveside rites for Gladys E. Jeppe, 87, Wheatland, were held Jan. 19 at St. Paul's cemetery, Wheatland, with the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating.

Miss Jeppe died Jan. 16 at Wheatland Manor, where she had been a resident for 6 1/2 years.

Miss Jeppe was born Feb. 22, 1901 in Wheatland to Otto and Carrie Meyer Jeppe. She graduated from Wheatland High school in 1918 and went to work as a printer for the Wheatland Gazette. Eventually she became the editor. She retired in March 1982.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland since 1915.

She is survived by 2 nephews, Dr. Neil Voita, Wheatland and Danny Voita, Longmont, Colo. and a niece, Doris Jeppe, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister.
