Sheldon O. Anderson, 75, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at Mercy North, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 1PM to 3PM Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory, there will be no service. Cremation will follow the visitation.

Sheldon was born October 2, 1940 in Hollandale, WI, the son of Clifford and Hazel (Kleppe) Anderson. He married Pat Mahoney on April 27, 1963 in Chicago, IL. Sheldon was a retired farmer and laborer. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Pat of Clinton; sons, William Anderson, Clifford (Brenda) Anderson, Reid Anderson and Terry Anderson; daughter, Melanie (Terrence Powell) Verne all of Clinton; 12grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Jeanne) Anderson of Texas and sisters, Marilyn (Gary) Hermanson of Fitchburg, WI and Karen (Bruce) Baker of Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his twin daughters, daughter, Dawn; brother, Harlan and his parents.
