Funeral services were held April 14 at Runge Mortuary, Davenport, for Oliver Krenz, 86, Wheatland, who died April 11 at West Wing Place, DeWitt. Burial was in Walnut, Ill. cemetery.

Mr. Krenz was born Aug. 15, 1902 in Massillon to Robert and Josephine Mowry Krenz. He married Velma Clapp in Walnut in 1946. He was employed by John Deere Planter Works, Moline, before his retirement. He later worked for the Massillon park board. He enjoyed fishing and bowling.

Survivors include his wife; 3 sisters, Mildred Baumgarten, Escanaba, Mich.; Hazel Steinke, Lowden and Myrtle Jeppe, Wheatland.
