Paul Domann is Found Dead in his Home
Paul Domann, former publisher of the Clinton Anzeiger, was found dead in his bed this morning in his home at Moline, Ill.
Mr. Domann was asphyxiated during the night. His wife discovered his body when she entered his room to call him at 6 o'clock this morning. The room was full of gas, and one jet was found partly turned on. The coroner's jury, early this afternoon, returned a verdict of accidental death. The jury reached the conclusion that Mr. Domann accidentally failed to turn the jet completely off when he retired last night.
The deceased was 44 years of age. After disposing of his interest in the German newspaper here twelve years ago, he went to Moline, and for several years was connected with German publications in the tri-cities. During the past two years he had been in the employ of a Moline plow manufacturing concern.
Mr. Domann is survived by his wife, nee Miss Marie Andersen [sic], to whom he was united in marriage here eighteen years ago. The remains are to be brought to Clinton tonight, and will be taken to the home of his wife's parents here.
