Elsworth L. Alfred of Davenport, father of Mrs. Avis Witt of DeWitt, died Saturday in Davenport after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Runge Chapel, Davenport, where friends may call today. Burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Alice Lynch and Mrs. Shirley Lee of Davenport and Mrs. Witt of DeWitt; two sons, Eldon and Elmer Alfred, both of Davenport; and 13 grandchildren.
