Howard K. “Fuzzy” Boyer, 79, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday January 28, 2016 at Mercy South, Clinton. Services will be held at 10AM Monday, February 1, 2016 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5PM Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Howard was born October 6, 1936 in Malone, Iowa the son of Vernon and Mary (Pool) Boyer. He was a Grand Mound High School graduate. Howard married Mary Fallesen on January 4, 1959 in Charlotte, Iowa.

He was employed as a truck driver with Dohrn Transfer for many years prior to retiring.

Howard was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. A very special memory of his was his two very special girls, Vicki and Jodi, who made his life very warm and rewarding.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of Clinton; sister-in-law, Velma Ketelsen of Fulton; brother-in-law, Don (Martha) Wilkens of Moline; aunt, Shirley Pool of Davenport and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Myra Wilkens and his dog, Pepsi, his best friend.

Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church or a favorite charity.
