Jane B. Shaw, 91, of Clinton, formerly of Camanche and Fulton, passed away, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Alverno, Clinton.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Camanche. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Douglas and Daniel Timmer, Jeff Shaw, Jeff Manjoine and Justin Schlader. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the service hour Wednesday at church. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com

Jane B. Fahr was born December 9, 1924 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Earl S. and Minnie (Pillard) Fahr. She was a 1942 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Kenneth Shaw on August 31, 1946. in Nashua, Iowa.

Jane owned and operated Millstone Antiques in Camanche for 10 years and worked at the Office of General Adjustment Bureau for 15 years.

She was an active member of St. Mark's Methodist Church, was a 50 year member of the O.E.S. , and Past Worthy Matron. She was one of the original Board members of the Camanche Library. She delivered meals on wheels in Clinton and Camanche for many years.

Jane loved to play bridge, make baskets, collect antiques, and go bass fishing. She also loved gardening, and especially raising African violets. She loved spending time with her family and especially loved watching her grandchildren’s activities.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth Shaw of Clinton; daughter, Dorinda (Gary) Haines of Camanche; one son, Richard E. Shaw of Muscatine, Iowa; five grandchildren: Doug (Sarah)Timmer, Dan (Charlotte) Timmer, Sarah (Jeff) Manjoine, Jeff Shaw, and Ashley (Justin) Schlader, and 10 great grandchildren.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Camanche or the Alzheimer’s Association.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Alverno for the compassionate care given by the memory unit.
