Paul graduated from Whiting Indiana High School. He was a 1985 graduate of Mt. St. Clare College. He served a 20 year career in the United States Marine Corp and retired as a Major in 1979. He moved to Fulton upon retirement and has resided there since.
Paul loved to travel and camp with Jane. They visited most of the U.S. National Parks and served as camp ground hosts at Illinois State Parks. He loved nature, going for walks, and was an avid reader.
