Mildred I. Hall, 106, of Clinton, passed away, Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Mercy Living Center – North.

Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Monday, September 28, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church- Clinton. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery – Camanche. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00-7:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory.

Mildred Irene Bowman was born on September 16, 1909 in Onida, Iowa, the daughter of Walter and Clara (Heil) Bowman. She was a 1927 graduate of Maquoketa High School. She later graduated from nursing school at Jane Lamb Hospital in 1930. She married Veral Hall on December 11, 1932 in Geneseo, Illinois; he died January 11, 1969.

Mildred was a nurse at Jane Lamb Hospital for 15 years retiring in 1976. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she served on Ladies Aid.

Mildred is survived by two daughters: Marianne (Don) Thien of Fulton, Illinois, and Janice Houglum of Clinton; 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and one sister: Wilma Thompson of Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, and two brothers.
