Tim Brian Manikowski, 51, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton.

Memorial services will be 1PM Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends from 11AM until 1PM, Sunday, at the Funeral Home. A celebration of Tim’s life will follow the memorial service at 2PM at the Eagles Club, Clinton. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com.

The youngest of five siblings, Tim was born July 1, 1964 in Clinton the son of John and Donna Mae (Lamp) Manikowski. He attended school and graduated High School from Northeast School District.

Tim married Barb Claussen Stowers in Clinton on June 3, 1995, they have a daughter Jessica and together they raised Jessica and Barb’s children Lisa and Andy Stowers.

Tim grew up on the family farm and helped with the family quarry. He was an operator/dump truck driver for various companies up to the time of his death. He was a hard worker and loved the outdoors. His biggest passion was pheasant and deer hunting with his nephew Cody and his beloved dogs, Nick, Connor, Katie and his grand dog Hunter. He also enjoyed roaming the countryside of Spragueville in search of mushrooms. He is truly loved and will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his wife, Barb and children, Jessica Manikowski of Clinton; Andy Stowers of Bettendorf, IA and Lisa Stowers of Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Jacionna and Jaelynn; mother, Donna Mae of Dubuque, IA; siblings, Vicki (Lonnie) Manikowski-Weis of Maquoketa, IA; Cindy (Steve) Hintermeister of Dubuque, IA; Dan (Julie) Manikowski of Washington, IL and Bill (Tia) Manikowski of Bryant, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, aunts, uncles and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
