Irma A. Hannig-Marx, 80, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Monday, September 7, 2015 at Mercy Living Center South, Clinton.

Memorial services will be 11 AM, Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory.

Irma Hannig was born March 21, 1935 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of August and Ruth (Wakeland) Hannig. She was educated in the Keithsburg, Illinois Schools.

Irma had been employed at many factories, as a CNA, as a maid at Little America in Cheyenne, Wyoming and as a farmer’s wife over the years.

She had been a member of the 1st Christian Church in Keithsburg, IL.

She is survived by her children, David Marx of Penrose, CO; Dennis Marx of Moline, IL; Danny (Patty) Marx of Pawnee, IL; Vickie Eble of Clinton; Laurence Marx of Clinton and Johnny (Trisha) Marx of Moline; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren and a brother, John Hannig of Washington State.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Terry and Ronald Joseph Marx; three brothers; two sisters and her parents.
