Molly Schepler age 70 of Bryant passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Ascension Lutheran Church, Goose Lake. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday, June 22nd at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, and from 9:30 A.M. until the service time Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Dean Chrest, Robert Schepler, Don Peters, David Greve, Leslie “Pee Wee” Johnson and Nathan Burken. Honorary casket beares will be her grandchildren; Leighla Schultz, Mark Douglas and Mandy King, Curtis and Lizzie Beller, Macy King, Kyle Beller, Seth Schultz, Ariel Foster, Lee Foster, Amya Schepler and Kenan Bailey.
Molly was born in Clinton on January 27, 1945, the daughter of Emil and Ethel Mae (Hansen) Seeser. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1963. Molly married Mert Schepler on June 7, 1964 at Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton. Molly and her husband farmed near Bryant for many years and she also drove a school bus for the Northeast School District for 27 years. She was a very active member of Ascension Lutheran Church where she served as a member and past president of the church council, taught Sunday school and Bible Study. She enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing, trips to Minnesota and Wisconsin and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren in following all their sports and activities.
Survivors include her husband, Mert; four children, Dawn and Mark King of Marion, IA, Randy and Theresa Schepler of Hubert, NC, Shelly and Mike Schultz of Clinton and Amanda Schepler of Bryant; ten grandchildren; a great grandson, Eli Allen King; three sisters, Nancy (Bill) Simpson of Florida, Grace (Vern) Galant of Clinton and Kathy (David) Burken of Clinton; a brother, David (Mary) Seeser of Clinton and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Seeser. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
