Elizabeth Marie Bush, 36, of Clinton, Iowa went home to her Dad - R.C. Bush Jr., and great grandma - Helen in Heaven on Saturday, November 28, 2015. A visitation will occur from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). Honoring Elizabeth's wishes, cremation rites will follow the visitation with a graveside service to be held at Savanna Township Cemetery at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Elizabeth was born March 24, 1979 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of R. C. and Kim (Whisker) Bush Jr. Elizabeth was a 1991 graduate of Clinton High School. Following high school she attended Clinton Community College and also acquired a degree in massage therapy from Capri College.
All of her life Elizabeth enjoyed learning about science, math and she loved art. She was an avid sports fan following her favorite two teams - the Pittsburg Steelers and St. Louis Cardinals. Above all, she loved her family very much, especially the two greatest joys of her life, her sons.
Elizabeth is survived by her two sons - Julian and Rocco at home, her mother Kim Bush of Clinton, IA; one brother - Marc Bush of Clinton, IA; grandparents - R.C and Shirley Bush of Granite City, IL; with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father - R. C. Bush Jr., grandparents Julia and Lynn Whisker and great grandparents Helen and Ted McWorthy.
