Barbara Joan (Mrs. Wesley) Williams, 81, of DeWitt, Iowa, died Monday morning, October 26, 2015, at Trinity Medical Center, Bettendorf, Iowa.

She was born February 25, 1934, in rural Tipton, Iowa, to John and Helen (Kleppe) Graham and was a 1952 graduate of Tipton Consolidated School. On December 24, 1955, Joan was united in marriage to Wesley Williams at the United Methodist Church, Tipton. The couple owned and operated Double W Trucking Company, Inc. of DeWitt for over 50 years until retirement.

Her pride and joy was her family. She never missed any of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sporting or school events.

Surviving are her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Wes; children, Randy Williams and Cheryl (Steve Dexter) Williams of Eldridge, Iowa; grandchildren, Kenny (Angie) Edwards, Bindi (John) Castillo, Krystal Bolser, Logan Williams and Austin Williams; great-grandchildren, Chase, Savannah, Cody and Ashton Edwards and Kyle Castillo.

Preceding Joan in death were her parents.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28. A private family graveside service and burial will be held at the Masonic Cemetery in Tipton.
