ALBERT HATHEWAY
Albert Hatheway, 73, Sabula, died Tuesday at Mercy Hospital.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Calvary Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gerald Gjerde officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Allen-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Sabula.
Mr. Hatheway was born June 6, 1904, to Jasper and Marie Papke Hatheway in Sabula. He graduated from Sabula High School in 1923 and married Viola Radden Oct. 19, 1926, in Clinton. He was chief clerk for the Burlington Railroad for 46 years before his retirement.
He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, the Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and was past president of the Sabula Senior Citizens.
Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Jane) Lucas, Mt. Carroll; four grandchildren; on sister, Mrs. Mabel Dwinnels, Woodbine, Ill.; and a brother, John, Hackensack Minn.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
