David C. Dolph age 47 of Clinton, passed away Monday Oct. 6, 2014 at Mercy North Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Saturday Oct. 11th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday 4 – 7 PM at the Pape Funeral Home. Following the funeral service, a funeral luncheon will be served at the Eagles Club and cremation rites will be accorded with burial at Oakland Cemetery at a later date. David was born on Sept. 29, 1967 in Clinton, the son of Joseph and Nancy (Franks) Dolph. He married Nicci Missman on July 2, 2005 in Clinton. He worked as a manager at Advance Auto for over 12 years. He was a member of the River Church and enjoyed fishing, golfing, going to the casino and mushroom hunting.

David is survived by his wife, Nicci of Clinton; sons, Andrew Dolph of Ft. Riley, KS and Steve Shepherd of Clinton; a grandson, Eli Dolph; his mother, Nancy (Dale) Bott of Clinton; two sisters, Debra (Randy) Westphal and Nancy (Tom) Leslie both of Clinton; and a brother, Joe (Letha) Dolph of Clinton; his father-in-law, Jim Brady of Clinton, and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, two great nephews, an aunt, cousin, and his mother-in-law.
