Clinton Herald; Monday October 7, 1985 p. 14. Lois Kearney, 64, of 1213 6th St., died Sunday in her home. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Anne's Catholic Church, Long Grove, with the Rev. John Hynes officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, DeWitt. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today in Schultz-McGinnis Funeral Home where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Bill and Jack Troy, Mike and Tom Kearney, Vincent Sheridan and Bill Peck. Mrs. Kearney was born May 13, 1921, in Davenport, to William and Elizabeth McCormack Tuchfarber. She married Joseph Kearney, April 16, 1945 in Davenport. He died March 17, 1968. Mrs. Kearney graduated from Davenport Mercy Hospital Nursing Training Program in 1944 and was a Reigstered Nurse at Jane Lamb Health Center. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Long Grove. Survivors include four daughters, Kathleen of Vilseck, West Germany, Mrs. William (Karen) Peck of Bettendorf, Maureen of Chicago, and Ann of Ames; four sons, Patrick of Valrico, Fla., William of Winfield, Ill., Joseph of Tampa, Fla., and Matthew of West Des Moines; four grandchildren; and a sister, Theo McGurn of Los Alamos, N.M. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and a brother.
