Harley R. Riley, 87, of Fulton, and formerly of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Mercy Living Center-South, Clinton. A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7PM, Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in the National Cemetery, Keokuk, Iowa.

Harley was born May 21, 1927 in Keokuk, the son of William and Grace (Polite) Riley. He was a 1945 graduate of Keokuk High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Carthage College. Harley was a WWII United States Navy veteran.
Harley married June Bohde in Keokuk in 1946; she preceded him in death in 2009.
He was employed at Sethness Products in Clinton as a chemist for more than 30 years, retiring in 1982.
Survivors include sons, Kevin (Pat) Riley of Houston, TX; Rick (Sabrina) Riley of Camanche, IA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a special friend, Marilyn Stankee of Fulton, IL.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters.
