Teresa Green, 62, of Clinton, passed away, Monday, May 5, 2014 at her home in Clinton.

Arrangements are pending at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory.

Teresa Cross was born on February 23, 1952 in Newton, Kansas, the daughter of Lee Phillip and Wilma Jean (Shockey) Cross. She married Ralph Green on February 21, 1971 in Clinton; he died March 5, 2005.

Teresa was a CNA at Harbor Crest Nursing Home and at Shady Rest Nursing Home in Cascade, Iowa.

Teresa enjoyed crocheting, spending time outdoors especially gardening, camping, fishing, and gardening. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Teresa is survived by her son: Phil Green of Clinton, her daughter: Evonne (Charles) Bailey of Clinton, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, two sisters: Denise Pierce of Wichita, Kansas, and Avonne (Buddy) Burkholder of Wichita, Kansas, and several nieces and nephews.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son.
