Juanita M. Deans age 86 of Clinton passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center North. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Pape Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 P.M. Cremation rites will follow with burial at a later date in Davenport, Oklahoma.

Juanita was born in Chandler, Oklahoma on October 8, 1927, the daughter of Joe and Jesse (Benge) Wooden. She married Henry Eugene Deans on November 30, 1946 in Chandler. Henry passed away in 1986. Juanita was a member of the Baptist faith. The joy of her life was her family. She loved dancing and country western music.

Juanita is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Augie) Fontenoy of Clinton; two granddaughters, Amy Lurk of Yorkville, IL and Emily (Chad) Micek of Bettendorf; four great grandsons, Josh and Ryan Lurk and Drew and Ben Micek; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Clarence) Richburg of Oklahoma City and Melva Wooden of Davenport, OK and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers and three sisters.
