Norma J. Rehr age 84 of Clinton, passed away Tuesday May 20, 2014 at Mercy North Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday May 24th at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clinton. Visitation will be held 4 – 7 PM Friday at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jeffrey, Larry, Dustin, and Andrew Schneider, Greg Libberton, and Ryon Kautz. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

Norma was born on March 12, 1930 in Clinton, the daughter of Jesse and Irma (Daniels) Sharp. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1948. She married Thomas Schneider in 1953 in Clinton. She later married Edward Rehr on June 24, 2001 in Clinton, he died in 2012. Norma worked at Clinton National Bank as a bookkeeper from 1948-1986. She later worked at Wagner Pharmacy from 1987-1997, when she retired. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she was active with the Women’s Circle (ELCA). She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Norma is survived by her three children, Linda Schneider of Clinton, IA, Jeffrey (Sharie) Schneider of Clintonville, WI, and Larry (Rose) Schneider of Freeport, IL; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward, a grandson, James, and a sister.
