Mrs. Fred Burmeister

Elizabeth Burmeister, 78, widow of Fred Burmeister, died Sunday, February 15, after a long illness. Born October 10, 1874, at Clinton, Iowa to Mathew Hodson and Maria Doyle Hodson, she had been a resident of Cedar Rapids for 50 years.

Surviving are two sons, Marvin of Cedar Rapids and Raymond of Glendale, California and a daughter, Mrs. Beulah Wright of Cedar Rapids, two brothers, John Hodson of Denver, Colorado and Fred Hodson of San Francisco and one sister, Mrs. Will Latter of Pasadena, California and five grandchildren.

Services will be conducted in St. Patrick's church by the Rt. Rev. Msgr D. J. Lenihan Tuesday at 9 a.m.. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Teahen chapel where friends may call.
