Susan “Sue” M. Wing, 63, of Clinton, passed away, Friday, April 18, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center – North Campus, Clinton, Iowa.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory.

Susan Marie Sanders was born on November 9, 1950 in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of James Paul and Gloria Marie (Brall) Sanders. She was a graduate of Clinton High School in 1968. She married Darrell Wing on April 4, 1969 in Clinton; he died February 2, 2010.

Sue was employed with GE in Morrison, Illinois for over 35 years.

Sue was an avid reader. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sue is survived by her son: Bradley (Christine Patterson) Wing of Columbia, Missouri, her daughter: Lindsey Wing of Clinton; three grandchildren: Jennifer Wing, Brycen Wing, and Amora Wing; five sisters: Patricia Shepherd of Clinton, Linda (Gary) Anglese of Clinton, Diane (Dave) Ohrt of Clinton, Debra (Joe) Thumann of Camanche, and Julie Nichols of Clinton.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Darrell Wing, Jr.; and her brother, Edward Sanders.
