Dolores Mae Struve age 82 of Clinton, died Saturday Apr. 12, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday Apr. 16th at St. John Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be held 9:00 AM until the service hour at the church. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Burial will be at Andover Cemetery. Casket bearers will be her grandchildren. Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church. Dolores was born on May 1, 1931 in Clinton, the daughter of Harry and Florence (Ruser) Boysen. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1949. She married George Struve on June 25, 1950 in Clinton. Dolores was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, where she attended the Fellowship Club and other church activities and the Thursday Card Club.
She enjoyed arts-n-crafts, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Dolores is survived by her husband, George Struve of Clinton; four children, Dianne (Dell) Lawrence of Marion, IA, Paul (Margaret) Struve of Clinton, Ronald Struve of Pella, IA, and Perry (Patti) Struve of Clinton; 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; and a brother, Albert (Betty) Boysen of Tampa, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
