Michael J. Doty age 71 of Clinton died Wednesday April 9, 2014 at his home. According to his wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation, cremation rites have been accorded. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com

Michael was born on Feb. 26, 1943 in Clinton, the son of Dwight and Joan (Fitzgerald) Doty. He attended Clinton Schools. He worked for Case International Harvester (New Holland) as a painter from 1963-1993. He was a member of the Eagles Club and AMVETS.

Michael is survived by his son, Bob Doty of Clinton; two grandchildren, Samantha and Christopher; and two great grandchildren, Cayden and Grace. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill.
