The Clinton Herald Saturday March 30, 1991 p 14 Russell K. Olson, 77, of 334 16th Ave. S. died Friday at Samaritan South. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Wegehoft of Immanuel Lutheran Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service hour Monday at Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Clemence, Clint Burkley, Tom Burke, Dallas Schumacher, Werner Wilke and Morris Hansen. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Lundeen and David Eisenhower. Mr. Olson was born April 9, 1913 in Clinton to Adolph and Carrie Olson Olson. He worked at Curtis Company in the store room area for 40 years until it closed in 1965. He then worked for Waukesha Engines Division, formerly the Climax Emgines Manufacturers, as a drill press operator for over 10 years, retiring in 1976. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Frank (Valeria) Keiser of Clinton; and four nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Death date: March 29, 1991.
