The Clinton Herald Monday November 26, 1984 p 14 Lyle B. Olson, 74, of 318 9th Ave. S., died Sunday in his home following an extended illness. The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Last, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Michael Clemence, Frank Franzen, Werner Wilke, Dallas Schumacher, Lester Underwood and Norman Stickell. Mr. Olson was born March 22, 1910, in Clinton, to Adolph and Carrie Olson Olson. He married Caroline Geronzin, July 27, 1940, in Clinton. Mr. Olson was employed by Climax Engine Company in the foundry department for 42 years. He retired from Waukesha Engine Company in 1972. He was a life-long resident of Clinton. Survivors include his wife; a son, John L. at home; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Valeria) Keiser of Clinton; and two brothers, Russell K. and Marvin L. both of Clinton. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
